The Bubble Project
15,000 bubble stickers against all new york city ads! passersby filled them in, the results are being documented via photostreams - here is the result. maybe more cities will follow? it surely will provide great fun!
"Our communal spaces are being overrun with ads (...) once considered "public" these spaces are increasingly being seized by corporations (...) the bubble project is the counterattack. the bubbles are ammunition. once placed on ads, these stickers transform the corporal monologue into an open dialogue. (...) more bubbles mean more freed spaces, more sharing of personal thoughts, more reaction to current events and most importantly, more imagination and fun."

frau gebrauchend handfläche
Neulich war ich auf der Suche nach einem geeignetem Bildmotiv - und ich habe mich kaputtgelacht über die Tags der gefundenen Bilder. Ich wette anhand der Ergebnisse kommt niemand auf die ursprünglichen Begriffe, nach denen ich gesucht habe... ok - ist nicht erforderlich, aber die internationale Bildbeschreibung wurde schon extrem billig, vermutlich über babelfish (!!!) ins Deutsche übersetzt:
Woman Using Palm Top: "frau gebrauchend handfläche oberseite" geht ja noch, auch wenn es bereits etwas zweideutig verstanden werden kann
aber Woman Standing With Her Legs Apart in Front of a ... (Bildbeschreibung unterbrochen): "stehen sie frau beine auseinander"...!?! Ich schmeiss mich weg vor lachen!
Gesucht habe ich übrigens nach Sessel und Business - welche Art von Business auch immer gg - auf dieser Seite finden sich auch die englischen Begriffe zum Vergleich - viel Spaß!
Gelegentlich frage ich mich schon, was sich die Macher mancher Seiten so denken, andereseits liefert es herrliche Ergebnisse - ein ungewollt zusätzlicher Unterhaltungswert mit sicherlich überraschenden Ergebnissen für Quereinsteiger über Google!
